Previously Ian was a retailer (store manager and area manager) for around 16 years with the likes of Poundland, Matalan and Somerfield which is where he gained the understanding of a companies need for a more streamlined, cost effective system, that is fully flexible for scheduling, demand requirements, forecasting and payroll as well as being fully mobile.

When commenting on his new position, Ian said: “ShopWorks offers everything that I feel an end user wants to have and importantly, can bespoke the software to adapt to a business need. It is important to have flexibility in this day and age as various trends appear such as service levels, employee engagement and real time data.

“For this reason, I joined ShopWorks for all the flexibility it offers and of course no up front cost to any any potential customer. I look forward to a long career here at ShopWorks, liaising with its current customers and new customers to be.”
