ShopWorks has partnered with Level FT to deliver the new feature, which offers seamless Earned Wage Access (EWA) through our Workforce Management platform and mobile app.

What is On-Demand Pay?

On-Demand Pay enables employees to access a portion of their earned income before payday. The amount they can access is a portion of the number of days they have worked within the current monthly pay cycle. As someone works throughout the month, their available balance grows, and they can withdraw funds whenever they need, for a small ATM-style fee.

Supporting employee financial wellbeing

For employees, the benefit is simple: more flexibility when managing everyday finances. Instead of turning to high-interest credit and stress when faced with an unexpected cost, they can access the money they’ve already earned before payday.

Demand for flexible pay is growing quickly. Research suggests that as many as two-thirds of UK employees would use Earned Wage Access at least once a month if it were available.
