The Shopworks Work Force Management system empowers shop and district managers to create their own rotas via an online interface which then updates a central database. Once the rotas are checked against budget and approved the staff are sent an SMS of their rotas, any changes for sickness or late arrival are tracked via the database and staff are kept informed of their shifts. At the end of the month an accurate and quick upload of the data into a payroll system ensures that there are very few complaints about payslips saving time and money in the accounts department. When installed in a new shop estate Shopworks have delivered savings of around 5% - 7% of salary cost
Reporting:
Shopworks customers have a very accurate handle on the profitability of every shop on a week by week basis thanks to our reporting module. When used in conjunction with the Staffing Module it can run the profit and loss report for every shop within an hour of the end of trading and it will 99.9% accurate every time without the need for expensive head office staff to compile the data. The end of day process is thoughtfully laid out in this module, bringing together data from EPOS, FOBT, Vending, Petty Cash and Staffing data to ensure cash is correctly managed and reported. Check sums and intelligent data fields ensure accurate data, exception reporting ensures quick problem solving. Shopwork’s betting, Casino and AGC customers use Shopworks to collect this data and create their annual compliance reports for the Gambling Commission.
