Fox Poker Club take the new latest Version of the Shopworks Staffing and Reporting system

Having installed Shopworks online staffing system from the day it opened Fox Poker Club is delighted to be the first customer to install the upgraded version 2.0.

According to Chris North, Fox’s Managing Director, “Shopworks really helped us get our staff costs under control when we opened, a Casino has a complex rota with gaming staff, door staff and F&B to manage. The automated system has been worth a couple of grand a week in reduced costs to us and has helped us keep our head office team lean.”

Shopworks have recently launched Version 2 of their software for Casino’s which now allows automated text messages to be sent to staff informing them of their rotas as well. The new version includes support for unlimited departments and an automated upload of data into the ubiquitous Sage accounting package.

Chris North is pleased to have the SMS interface, “as you would expect all of our staff are big text users and some of them are part time and have other jobs, having the comfort that our staff see any changes to their rotas immediately and that we get a delivery report means we are always properly manned and on budget. It really does allow us to run the most efficient rota possible”
Mike Hennessy, Business Development Director of Shopworks is in no doubt that Fox Poker Club will quickly see the benefits; “Our customers use us to save money, improve operational efficiency and also communicate more effectively with their staff” says Mike “we recently completed the roll out of a system into a chain of 20 or so shops and their monthly staff costs went from a Pre-Shopworks £99,600 to an average £92,300 in the first two full months after implementation. That’s a saving of over 7% on the staff cost and the system paid for itself in the first month”
